Largent & Associates is seeking an accomplished Chief Operating Officer Metrology Precision Instrumentation to lead our organization's manufacturing and supply chain efforts. This senior leader will be responsible for developing and implementing operational strategies to drive growth, improve quality, and reduce costs.

Responsibilities:
Strategic Operations Leadership
- Lead the development of comprehensive operational strategies to achieve business objectives.
- Drive data-driven decision making across all functions, ensuring operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Supply Chain and Logistics Management
- Develop and execute end-to-end supply chain optimization initiatives, including procurement, materials management, logistics, and distribution.
- Mitigate risks and ensure continuity of supply for critical components and assemblies.
Talent Development and Leadership
- Build and mentor high-performing teams across operations, focusing on succession planning, leadership development, and talent retention.
- Foster a collaborative environment that promotes transparency, performance, and accountability.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical field; MBA or Master's preferred.
- 15 years of progressive experience in operations leadership, with at least 5 years in a senior executive role.
- Proven success managing multi-facility manufacturing operations in a high-mix, low-volume environment, preferably in precision instrumentation, metrology, or related industries.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including machining, assembly, electronics integration, and calibration.
