Wine-Savvy Server/Bartender – Café Largesse

Café Largesse & Wine Bar is an elevated restaurant experience nestled in the heart of Austin, opening its doors in April 2025. We blend warm hospitality with culinary excellence and a thoughtfully curated wine list to create unforgettable moments for our guests. As we prepare to open, we’re looking for a passionate, wine-savvy Server/Bartender to anchor our bar service and help shape the soul of our space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and engage guests, offering expert guidance on wine selections to complement our menu
- Provide thoughtful wine pairing recommendations based on guest preferences
- Serve wine and beverages at the bar/Table-side with precision, warmth, and attention to detail
- Maintain deep knowledge of our wine list, regions, and vintages
- Keep the bar organized, clean, and well-stocked
- Collaborate with the sommelier and management to manage wine inventory
- Deliver exceptional, attentive service to ensure a memorable guest experience
- Participate in ongoing wine tastings and staff education
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a server or wine bartender in an upscale dining environment
- Strong knowledge of wine, including regions, varietals, and food pairings
- Excellent communication and hospitality skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be 21 with a valid TABC alcohol service certification
- Passion for wine, service, and creating community around the bar
