Job Summary
The AWS Cloud Engineer V will be pivotal in defining and implementing secure architecture within the client's public cloud environment.
Minimum Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science/information systems or comparable with 8 years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in Python and Golang coding languages
- Demonstrated proficiency in Infrastructure as Code best practices and strong experience with building complex Terraform modules for AWS cloud.
- Demonstrated experience with AWS organizations and policy guardrails (SCP, AWS Config)
- Demonstrated experience with AWS native networking services and cloud DNS inclusive of TGW, VPC, DXGW, NLB, GWLB
- Experience deploying production applications into cloud environments
- Experience with RESTful APIs and scripting Classification
- AWS certification(s) is required
- Experience with Git, AWS CodeBuild and CodePipeline, serverless technologies, containerized workloads and Jenkins orchestration is a plus
- Financial industry experience is a plus.
- Experience in artificial intelligence foundation models such as Claude, Llama 2, Titan, Jurassic, GPT and Amazon OpenSearch is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Hands-on role, providing technical leadership, responsible for the realization of AWS cloud strategy including infrastructure, machine learning and artificial intelligence platform services.
- Responsible for the delivery of technical cloud strategies at scale leveraging Python, Golang and Terraform tooling, promoting infrastructure as code to accelerate our cloud program.
- Build cloud-native services to support application teams and contribute to the development of cloud infrastructure automation.
- Support application teams in leveraging cloud based artificial intelligence platforms and services, enhancing internal customer experiences.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for the team to reference and share with our internal customers
- Provide technical support to regulatory agencies, external auditors, and internal auditors, as required, to respond to audits and examinations of the clients control environment.
- Mentor and develop the skills of junior team members through coaching and training.
