Role: Azure Security Engineer
Work location: Lansing Michigan, with a hybrid work arrangement of 4 days a week
Interview process: Video
Certifications preferred: Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
Required experience: Minimum 7 years in cloud security, specifically in Microsoft Azure
Key knowledge areas: Azure AD, RBAC, IAM, security best practices, SIEM, SOAR, security monitoring tools such as Azure Sentinel, Defender for Cloud, Log Analytics
Skills: Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform, ARM templates, Bicep), network security concepts including firewalls, VPNs, and micro-segmentation
Specific hands-on experience: Security incident handling and forensic analysis
Main tools to be used: SSO and Ping federate, Ping access.
