Experience & Skills
- 5 years of DBA experience, 5 on AWS.
- Work with SMP Lead DBA performing data base design and optimize platforms with primary focus of Postgres, Redshift, Dynamo DB with Oracle as a plus.
- Perform data base architecture for enterprise systems.
- Build and Monitor AWS Database Migration Service (DMS).
- Proficient in SQL, experience with backup and recovery, environment refresh
- Diagnose and troubleshoot database-related problems, resolving issues promptly to minimize downtime
- Create, maintain, and administer AWS cloud databases in a highly available environment.
- Takes proactive ownership of work through full development lifecycle
- Has the ability to accurately estimate work requirements
