- Kubernetes clusters and Linux systems administration
- Python, Shell scripting, Perl, Ruby.
- Lead the design, installation, and administration of containerized virtualization environments using KubeVirt, VMware, and Hyper-V
- Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters, ensuring seamless deployment and maintaining high availability, security, and performance
- Administer and fine-tune Linux systems to support virtualized infrastructure and containerized workloads
- Build and maintain automated solutions for monitoring, scaling, and analyzing infrastructure using tools like Ansible and Terraform
- Anticipate capacity needs and recommend architecture upgrades to prevent resource limitations
- Develop automated incident response mechanisms, track critical system metrics, and participate in an on-call rotation for high-priority issues
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Equivalent experience with 4 years of relevant work in virtualization and cloud-native environments
- 2 years of experience with virtualization technologies such as KubeVirt, VMware, and Hyper-V, managing distributed environments across multiple data centers
- Hands-on experience managing Kubernetes clusters and Linux systems administration
- Proficient in Python, Shell scripting, Perl, Ruby, or similar languages for automation and infrastructure management
- Skilled in automating deployments with Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools within a CI/CD pipeline
- Proven success providing advanced support for bare-metal, virtual environments, and mass storage systems
- Experience managing large-scale virtualization environments with KubeVirt, VMware, or Linux-based hypervisors
