- 6 years of IT security and audit experience
- Extensive knowledge of national/international security standards, including NIST, PCI, CJIS, CMS, ISO, SOX, HIPAA, HITECH, and other regulatory requirements
- Knowledge of security standards and progressive experience with security assessments and reviews
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Job duties:
- Monitor and advise on information security issues
- Assist with enterprise risk management process
- Assess the effectiveness of data security policies, processes, procedures and controls
- Assist specific agencies with risk assessment process and identify gaps in security control environment and compliance requirements
- Perform gap analysis of security requirements
- Provide guidance on interpretation of NIST controls and other security statutory and regulatory requirements
- Act as a subject matter expert and mentor within the Risk and Compliance Division
- Assist with risk assessment process within the state of Michigan
- Assist with establishing Cyber Security Framework for the State of Michigan
- Work with MCS Keylight team in improving MiSAP process
- Perform other cyber security related tasks as assigned.
Salary : $55
