The Process Engineer role is a hybrid role
requiring onsite presence 3 days a week in Framingham, MA.
The role is a contract position for 6 months,
Candidates must have a LinkedIn profile and be able to provide work references.
Candidates must have a minimum of a Master's degree with 3 years of relevant process engineering experience or a PhD with 1 years of experience.
Strong process modeling experience is a must, specifically with biopharmaceutical process modeling (mechanistic/hybrid modeling, chemometric modeling, PAT Raman) and process control.
Experience with advanced data analysis/programming, such as Python, is required.
Candidates must have GMP & Quality systems experience and knowledge of numerical methods.
Excellent communication skills are essential.
The ability to collaborate with different functions and be a strong team contributor is needed.
Experience with digital modeling is a plus.
The ability to develop an experimental plan and collaborate with others is desirable.
Job responsibilities include supporting global biologics manufacturing sites and other MSAT functional groups with the development and implementation of process modeling and new technologies.
The Process Engineer will develop mechanistic/hybrid models to understand and predict drug substance and drug product processes.
They will develop and implement advanced process modeling and technologies to achieve RFT process tech transfer/scale-up and enable real-time process monitoring/control.
The Process Engineer will support process investigations and improvements with modeling expertise and process knowledge.
The role involves collaboration with colleagues and external partners from various functions, such as R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, and Digital.
