Job Summary: Quality Assurance Analyst
- Location: Lansing, MI (Hybrid; local candidates only, in-office 2 days/week)
- Duration: 1 year contract
- Interview: Web-based (camera on)
- Ensure solutions meet business requirements and are defect-free.
- Develop and execute test cases according to project schedule.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners, and UAT testers.
- Conduct UAT training sessions and resolve critical IT issues related to QA.
- Complete, review, and approve all QA documentation as per process.
- Participate in requirements and design review meetings.
- Prepare test data and set up QA environments, including interfaces.
- Manage defect identification, tracking, and remediation.
- Work with Product Owners to prioritize and set defect severity.
- Facilitate defect triage meetings.
- Collaborate with Tech Leads, Developers, and UI/UX Designers to resolve defects and provide usability input.
- Partner with QA Specialists for complex projects.
- Provide analysis and input for Go/No Go project decisions.
- 3-5 years of experience in Quality Assurance roles.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium and Java.
- Experience working in Agile team environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills.
- LinkedIn profile with state client experience is required.
- Must possess a valid Michigan ID/Driver’s License.
- No relocation or remote-only option; must live within 2 hours of Lansing, MI.
