Key Responsibilities
- Proxy: Broadcom Cloud Secure Web Gateway, Content Analysis System, Proxy Secure Gateway, Cloud Secure Web Gateway Reporting
- Support proxy configurations to enable secure and compliant web traffic.
- Monitor proxy performance and escalate to Proxy Team as needed.
- Implement policies for web access, content filtering, and data loss prevention.
- Firewall: Check Point – MDS, VSX, Maestro
- Configure and maintain firewall rules and policies.
- Perform troubleshooting and log analysis to identify and resolve network security issues.
- Collaborate with the Firewall Team to identify existing and future policies that do not align with organizational standards.
- Load Balancing: Citrix Netscaler VPX
- Manage load balancing policies, monitor content switching, and create VIP’s to optimize application availability and performance.
- Troubleshoot load balancing issues related to applications, ensuring seamless traffic distribution across servers.
- Assist in integrating load balancing into recently migrated applications and infrastructure.
- Integration Tasks:
- Partner with the Systems Platform Team to support application migration into colo and Azure data centers
- Develop and document processes, workflows, and escalation procedures for cross-team tasks.
- Act as first-line troubleshooter for issues related to AD, Proxy, Firewall, and Load Balancing.
- Operational Excellence:
- Drive process optimization by identifying and implementing best practices for security and IT operations
- Ensure a consistent, high-quality service delivery by developing and maintaining robust workflows, documentation and automation.
- Foster collaboration across teams to streamline operations, reduce inefficiencies, and improve response times.
- Leverage data-driven insights to enhance system performance, mitigate risks, and support strategic decision-making
- Champion a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning to keep pace with evolving technologies and threats.
