- Job Title: Senior OT Engineer
- Location: Battle Creek, Michigan
- Duration: 12 Months with possible travel every other month or 1x per quarter
- Responsible for the security, reliability, and efficiency of operational technology systems across six manufacturing facilities, with the primary facility in Battle Creek, MI.
- Liaise with engineering teams at each manufacturing facility and corporate IT Engineering and Architecture teams.
- Provide regular reports to site, business unit, and IT leadership on potential OT risks.
- Develop and implement OT security strategies focused on visibility, segmentation, and secure remote access.
- Track asset inventories and monitor network activities to ensure security and reduce vulnerabilities.
- Foster strong relationships between IT, OT, and site engineering teams.
- Monitor OT networks and control systems and execute segmentation strategies.
- Utilize detection engines to monitor OT security events and respond to real-time alerts.
- Manage vulnerabilities within OT environments and use tools like Claroty to assess risks.
- Skills required include strong understanding of OT and IT network segmentation, proficiency in security protocols and threat detection tools, OT architectural design and implementation, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and experience managing and securing OT networks and systems.
- Experience with Palo Alto firewalls, Claroty, managing PLCs and OT sensors is desired.
