Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and technically skilled Operational CLIENT Specialist with a strong proficiency in UNIX to join our team. This role will focus on overseeing and optimizing operational workflows, managing CLIENT system operations, and ensuring seamless integration within a UNIX-based environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in both operational management and technical troubleshooting, ensuring that CLIENT systems are running efficiently and effectively within our UNIX infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Manage, maintain, and optimize the CLIENT system within a UNIX environment, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of all related processes.
Oversee the day-to-day operational activities, ensuring workflows are properly executed and aligned with the organization's goals.
Collaborate with IT, development teams, and other stakeholders to ensure system integration between CLIENT and other business-critical systems, especially in a UNIX environment.
Monitor and troubleshoot any operational issues, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions.
Develop and implement strategies for performance optimization of both CLIENT operations and UNIX infrastructure.
Ensure the integrity of data by managing backup systems, performing regular system checks, and ensuring all information is secure and compliant.
Analyze system logs, performance metrics, and other relevant data to identify potential operational inefficiencies or system vulnerabilities.
Coordinate with various teams to troubleshoot and resolve any system malfunctions, focusing on UNIX system performance and CLIENT integration.
Provide training and support to staff in using CLIENT systems and tools, ensuring adherence to operational best practices.
Prepare reports on operational performance, system health, and troubleshooting actions taken, providing insights for senior management.
Manage and document changes to CLIENT configurations, UNIX scripts, and other operational processes.
Ensure that systems and operations are compliant with security protocols, regulations, and best practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Operations Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in operational management, with a focus on UNIX systems and CLIENT or similar system platforms.
Strong working knowledge of UNIX/Linux operating systems and system administration tasks (e.g., shell scripting, troubleshooting, performance tuning).
Experience with CLIENT or similar operational systems in a UNIX-based environment.
Proven ability to troubleshoot complex system issues in a UNIX environment and manage large-scale operations.
Excellent understanding of system integration, process optimization, and data management in both UNIX and CLIENT contexts.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to diagnose problems, propose solutions, and make data-driven decisions.
Proficient in shell scripting, system monitoring tools, and Unix-based applications.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience working in cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and business units.
Preferred Qualifications
Certification in UNIX system administration or related technical certifications (e.g., RHCE, CompTIA Linux ).
Experience with automation tools for UNIX systems (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, or similar).
Knowledge of CLIENT's architecture, configuration, and troubleshooting in a UNIX environment.
