- Job Title : Network Engineer

- Contract Duration : 6 months, with potential for extension
- Locations : Sayre, PA and Binghamton, NY (ONSITE)
- Travel Requirements : Occasional, with expenses reimbursed
- Primary Responsibilities : Replacing, implementing, and maintaining network solutions for a hospital; managing complex network environments
- Required Experience : 3-5 years with Extreme Network Switching
- Required Technical Knowledge : Universal Aggregation / Core Switch Platform, Extreme 7520, Universal Stackable Switches, 4000 / 5520 / 5420 Series, Cisco Wireless Network architecture, switching and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP), general Network and Security fundamentals
- Required Skills : Remote client support, software and hardware installation and configuration, incident resolution, root cause analysis, adherence to change management processes, device and network performance analysis and troubleshooting
- Communication Skills : Strong oral and written communication; ability to lead technical discussions
- Working Environment : Fast-paced, results-oriented engineering environment
- Autonomy : Ability to work independently and mentor others
- Preferred Certifications : Extreme Networks Certified Specialist (ECS), CCIE, Wireless, Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Wireless, Certified Wireless Network Professional (CWNP)
