Job Description :
- Coordinate multiple research protocols and serve as a liaison with investigators, clinical staff, and research personnel.
- Adhere to the Code of Conduct philosophy and Mission and Value Statement.
- Complete assigned training requirements by the due date.
- Accurately complete study medication order forms and obtain signatures from the physician or designee prior to medication administration.
- Perform routine operational activities for multiple research protocols.
- Collaborate closely with site departments, including finance, hospital administration, and the local IRB.
- Coordinate the protocol schedule of assessments from feasibility submission to study closeout.
- Submit and gain approval for the Site's Facility Review Committee, if applicable.
- Instruct appropriate staff on research protocols, including interpretation of test results and related data.
- Assess and document patient findings at each clinic visit while on protocol.
- Document specific tasks required by the protocol, such as medication forms, questionnaires, neuro exams, and vital sign sheets.
- Ensure medication approval by the appropriate designee before treatment or medication regimen changes.
- Accurately calculate and document conversions needed per protocol, like BSA, creatinine, and STS.
- Document patient interactions during the protocol enrollment, including follow-up and survival information.
- Schedule follow-up appointments, imaging, and related procedures per protocol requirements.
- Complete and submit data requests, including queries, with source documentation in accordance with SOP timeframes.
- Generate and track shipments of drugs, devices, and supplies as needed.
- Track and report adverse events, protocol waivers, deviations, and violations accurately.
- Re-consent patients in a timely and documented manner.
- Communicate protocol-related issues to appropriate study personnel or manager.
