Administrative Specialists work with a team to greet walk-in customers, help direct people, route paperwork appropriately, and support clients in identifying HS and community resources. They also provide administrative support to internal staff across all four Human Services divisions (Operations and Organization Development Division, Aging and Adult Services Division, Children, Youth, and Family Division, and the Benefits and Community Support Division).

What you'll be doing:
- Providing front-line customer service for the department.
- Answering questions and explaining County and departmental policies, rules, and procedures.
- Researching information and directing inquiries or paperwork to the right place.
- Drafting responses to communications based on established policies and procedures.
- Scheduling work orders, service calls, and department activities.
- Tracking activities and maintaining accurate logs.
- Assisting with onboarding and training new or temporary administrative staff.

Depending on qualifications, this position could be hired as an Administrative Specialist I or II.
Administrative Specialist I: $22.2900/hr - $24.8017/hr
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- One (1) year of experience in a directly related field or in the performance of similar office administrative duties and responsibilities required.

The typical schedule for this position is Monday-Friday 8-5pmThis is not a remote or hybrid position. It is located 100% in the office and could be located at one of the following three locations or be asked to rotate to cover based on staffing needs: 1501 Blue Spruce Drive, Fort Collins, CO; 2555 Midpoint Drive, Fort Collins, CO; 200 Peridot Avenue, Loveland, CO.
All new employees and rehires will be required to submit fingerprints for a CBI criminal background check (c.r.s. 26-6-104).
All staff working in the Options for Long Term Care Unit, Adult Protection Unit, or Office on Aging will be required to submit information for a Colorado Adult Protective Services data system check (c.r.s. 26-3-1-111).
