Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all phases of public works projects, from initial planning and budgeting to execution and closeout.
- Collaborate with clients, government agencies, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
- Prepare and present comprehensive project reports, including progress updates and financial summaries.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in project management within the heavy civil construction industry, with a strong focus on public works.

- In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).

- PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.

Work Environment:
- Reads blueprints
- Writes technical and professional reports and correspondence using proper spelling, grammar and style.
- Communicates information and responds to questions individually and in small groups
- Applies common sense understanding to carry out simple written and oral instructions
- May involve lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. for short periods of time
- Must have visual acuity to see and read paper and electronic documents.
- Ability to climb stairs
- Sits for long periods of time, walking job sites , stand, bend, stoop, reach, climb carry and lift for carrying periods.
- Requires continuous and repetitive arm-hand-eye movement
