Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or above
At least 5 years of backend software development experience
Extensive experience in backend service development
Strong curiosity to learn new things and willingness to explore outside of the comfort zone
A strong developer and a great problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment
Passion for building a large-scale product with incredible performance, stability, and elegant user experience
Working proficiency and communication skills in both English and Mandarin (as sometimes you will need to reference and translate Chinese process documents and deliver global projects accordingly)
Responsibilities
Provide backend service expertise in developing new features by working closely with design, product and other cross-functional teams
Contribute to overall system design and code quality improvement
Improve product quality through bug fixes, performance analysis and tuning
Grow the team by coaching junior engineers and contributing to long-term technical planning
Collaborate with product and engineering teams in Asia
Benefits
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $136800 - $280000 annually
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location
Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses / incentives, and restricted stock units
