What are the responsibilities and job description for the MHT (Full-Time) position at Larkin Community Hospital?
Skills/ Experience Required:
- Knowledgeable in the areas of: Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, and/or related Human Services field as they relate to Outreach Coordination.
- MHT Certification preferred.
- At least 2 years’ experience working with adults with serious emotional disturbances.
- Be knowledgeable of and comply with State Federal Statues, Rules, and Policies that affect the target population as it relates to Outreach Coordination.
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills.
- Strong ability to work well with a multimodal and multidisciplinary team consisting of psychiatrist, licensed psychotherapists, case managers, and support staff.
- Ability and willingness to work closely with diverse populations, as well as emotionally disturbed adults and their families.
- Ability to work on flexible schedule.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Strong documentation skills, English required.
- Able to utilize Word and Excel.
- Able to demonstrate emotional skills.
- Must have reliable transportation and must have a valid Florida Driver’s License.
- Must have Active CPR (BLS) Certification.
