Key Responsibilities:
Simulation Lab Setup:
- Prepare simulation equipment, including mannequins, medical instruments, and supplies, prior to scheduled lab sessions.
- Collaborate with faculty to ensure accurate replication of various medical scenarios, including emergency situations, routine patient care, and specialized procedures.
Technical Support:
- Provide technical assistance during simulation exercises, including the operation of simulators, audiovisual equipment, and other technology used for real-time feedback.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise during simulation sessions to ensure seamless learning experiences.
Maintenance and Calibration:
- Regularly inspect, clean, and maintain simulation equipment to ensure proper functionality and hygiene.
- Calibrate and update simulators according to manufacturer guidelines, making sure they accurately mimic physiological responses.
Scenario Development:
- Collaborate with faculty and instructional designers to create realistic and effective simulation scenarios that align with learning objectives.
- Assist in the development of patient profiles, medical histories, and other pertinent materials for authentic simulation experiences.
Data Collection and Analysis:
- Assist with data collection tools during simulation sessions to capture student performance and interactions.
- Summarize and analyze simulation data, providing insights to educators for performance evaluation and continuous improvement.
Scheduling Optimization:
- Implement efficient scheduling practices to maximize lab utilization while accommodating various learning objectives and student groups.
- Address scheduling conflicts and adjustments in a timely manner to ensure smooth operations.
Training and Orientation:
- Conduct orientation sessions for students and faculty on the proper use of simulation equipment and technology.

Collaboration and Communication:

Qualifications:
- Experience in simulation lab operations, medical technology, or healthcare education is preferred.
