Job Summary
We are seeking outgoing, friendly, and helpful team members to welcome and assist customers. Previous hardware experience is a plus but not a requirement.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a strong ability to communicate effectively with customers. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for driving sales, providing product education, and ensuring an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
What to Expect:
- Work directly with customers to understand their needs and help them find everything they need to complete their project
- Assist with loading materials from lumber yard - Forklift experience preferred
- Assist with receiving, stocking, and pricing merchandise
- Assist with daily maintenance, orderliness, and cleanliness of store and grounds
Requirements
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers.
- Basic math skills are essential
- Ability to maintain attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stay active on your feet during shifts and handle up to 50lbs
