CERTIFICATED POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
POSITION: Education Specialist, K-8, Extended School Year
LOCATION: Neil Cummins Elementary School, Corte Madera, CA 94925
SCHEDULE:
5 days per week/4 hours per day
Classes June 23 – July 18, 2025, except July 4th (19 instructional days)
One teacher prep day prior to the start of ESY (June 20, 2025)
Student hours 8:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
Teacher hours 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
SALARY: $240.00 a day
QUALIFICATIONS:
Valid California Teaching Credential, Education Specialist, Mild/Moderate and/or Moderate/Severe with English Language Learner Authorizations required
Master’s Degree preferred
Previous experience working with children with special needs and with K-8 population in an educational setting desired
Ability to provide virtual instruction as needed
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and implement small group instruction based on student IEP goals
Provide direction and monitor the activities of the Paraprofessional, Specialized staff
