POSITION: Middle School Art Teacher, 0.40 FTE, 2025-26 school year.
SALARY: Pro-rated based on FTE. Appropriate Step and Column placement on Certificated Salary Schedule. Pro-rated stipends for advanced degree and/or National Board, as applicable.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: We are seeking a collaborative, creative, and team-oriented art teacher to support arts integration at Hall Middle School. This position will be either:
40% Arts Integration: The teacher will work with each department to infuse art into interdisciplinary projects throughout the year. They will push into core academic classrooms and teach lessons that integrate art into the curriculum. Schedule is flexible based on project timelines and collaboration with core content teachers.
OR
20% Arts Integration 20% First Period Art Elective: In addition to the arts integration duties described above (at 20%), this teacher would also teach a first period, daily art class as part of the 7th/8th grade elective wheel (20%). The elective course would run each semester, with this position teaching both semesters.
QUALIFICATIONS: Valid CA Single Subject Art credential, or Multiple Subjects credential with Art authorization required. English Language Learner authorization required.
Master’s Degree, bilingual, and experience working in a school setting desired.
Candidate should possess stellar qualities that will motivate and inspire pupils to develop skills, knowledge, and dispositions in our Graduate Portrait.
