Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various settings, including residential homes, hotels, and commercial spaces. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A background in housekeeping management or custodial services is preferred.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming to ensure a clean and sanitary environment.
- Launder linens, towels, and other fabrics as required, ensuring they are clean and well-maintained.
- Execute floor care duties including carpet cleaning and maintenance of hard surface floors.
- Manage housekeeping supplies and report any shortages or needs for replenishment.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to guest requests and inquiries.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces in hotels or residential settings.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping management, commercial cleaning, or custodial services is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify areas needing improvement or additional cleaning.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor towards guests and clients.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment is beneficial.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or holidays if necessary.
