Inventory Coordinator
JOB SUMMARY:
To ensure all appropriate parts and equipment are inventoried, received and distributed in accordance with proper and prudent practices.
DUTIES:
1. Determine and update appropriate par levels for stock and non-stock parts.
2. Receiving and storing inventory. Overseeing the arrival, storage and retrieval of inventory items.
3. Maintain accurate stock records and tracking inventory movements.
4. Conducting regular audits to identify discrepancies and ensure inventory accuracy.
5. Processing Purchase Orders.
6. Pick and deliver stock orders from storeroom inventory on a timely basis.
7. Deliver and shelf stock and non-stock parts and equipment in a neat, orderly manner.
8. Receive and deliver and/or shelf all incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy of shipments, noting damage or shortages.
9. Responsible for shipment of outgoing parts, including returns with proper packing and insurance.
10. Rout packing slips to appropriate personnel.
11. Keep the warehouse, staging and dock areas clean and orderly at all times.
12. Establish and maintain a good professional rapport with manufacturers, suppliers and internal departments
13. Addressing discrepancies and resolving issues related to inventory levels in a timely manner.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. A minimum of at least a high school diploma.
2. Two years inventory and warehouse work experience.
3. Must be able to operate heavy machinery including a forklift. We will provide forklift certification.
4. Ability to follow written and oral instructions, read and write and basic math.
5. Strong organizational skills.
6. The ability to multi-task.
7. Must be detail oriented.
8. Proficient in analyzing data, identifying and resolving problems and generating clear reports.
9. Good communication skills.
LIFTING REQUIREMENTS:
The lifting of 75 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds is
possible. Walking or standing is required to a significant degree.
