Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to handle bookkeeping and administrative tasks for our construction business. This role requires a combination of financial expertise and strong administrative skills to support our operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Process invoices, purchase orders, and subcontractor payments.
  • Prepare financial reports, bank reconciliations, and job cost tracking.
  • Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
  • Assist with project budgeting and cost control.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date files, both digital and physical.
  • Coordinate office activities, including scheduling, communication, and correspondence.
  • Provide administrative support to project managers and field teams.
  • Assist in preparing and submitting permits, contracts, and compliance documents.

What we are looking for:

  • Proven experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or administrative support, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in Accounting software such as Sage300 or Sage Intact, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), and Construction software such as Procore.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge of construction industry practices, including job costing and lien waivers, is a plus.
