Retail Sales/ Pawn Associate

Larry Love's Diamond Exchange/Uneeda Pawn is a jewelry store and Pawn Shop that has been in business in its current location for 31 years. We are currently looking for a Retail Sales/Pawn Associate to join our team in our Columbus, GA store. Starting pay is $12/hr plus commissions, with potential for pay increase at 90 days.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to work weekends (Saturdays only).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of retail sales experience preferred.
• Must be able to communicate clearly, accurately, and positively with customers.
• Must be able to walk & stand for extended periods of time.
• Must possess strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• The ability to follow instructions and stay up to date on product information.
• The ability to work independently and participate in a team-based environment.
• The ability to lift merchandise, bag merchandise, and load/unload inventory that weighs up to 25 pounds.
• The ability to maintain an organized and clean work space.
• The ability to adapt to change and evolve with the company.
• The ability to adapt to a flexible schedule including weekends (Saturdays).
• The ability to adapt to a competitive work environment with competitive objectives.

Duties:
·Assist with inventory management, merchandising, pricing, product selection, and customer service by building relationships with customers in our Columbus, GA store.

·Provide accurate product information by using our POS system.

·Make loans (pawns), accept payments on pawns. (Will we train).

·Maintain a positive attitude with customers while providing exceptional customer service.

·Prepare sales orders and provide accurate shipping information for received sales orders.
