Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Manager to oversee our inventory management processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient procurement, storage, and distribution of materials while maintaining optimal stock levels. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to utilize data-driven insights to enhance inventory operations. Responsibilities
· Place orders using DME software
· Receive and stock incoming products
· Monitor inventory levels and adjust as needed
· Maintain and update product records in software
· Maintain current pricing of products
· Conduct periodic price table updates
· Research products and obtain quotes as necessary
· Check-in and restock rental equipment
· Assemble DME equipment for sales floor as necessary
· Communicate with vendors and customers on repairs/replacements of equipment
· Address manufacturer warranties and recalls as needed
· Process outgoing shipments of small medical equipment
· Record keeping of oxygen tank refills and gauge certifications
· Maintain order and cleanliness of warehouse and sales floor
· Assist other departments with product support as needed
· Assist with phone calls as needed
· Other duties as assigned by upper management
QUALIFICATIONS
1. College diploma or equivalent
2. Ability to interact with the public, vendors and DME personnel
3. Ability to operate Word, Excel
4. Ability to learn an operate DME software
5. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical inventory tasks.
6. Experience in stock management and optimization strategies.
7. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
