Job Title: Powersports Sales Representative
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Interaction:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products based on their preferences, lifestyle, and intended use.
- Answer questions regarding vehicle features, specifications, pricing, and financing options.
- Sales Process:
- Conduct product demonstrations and test rides for customers (if applicable).
- Provide accurate quotes, process sales orders, and finalize transactions.
- Manage customer inquiries and follow-up on leads.
- Product Knowledge:
- Stay updated on the latest models, features, and advancements in powersports vehicles and accessories.
- Be familiar with warranty options, service packages, and financing plans.
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends and competitor offerings.
- Inventory Management:
- Assist in maintaining inventory and ensuring that vehicles and accessories are properly displayed.
- Work with the sales manager or dealership to manage stock levels and special orders.
- Customer Service:
- Ensure customer satisfaction by providing post-sale support, including answering questions or addressing concerns.
- Resolve any issues that arise in a timely and professional manner.
- Help coordinate service appointments or deliveries.
- Sales Goals and Reporting:
- Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
- Maintain records of customer interactions and sales activities.
- Report on sales trends, customer feedback, and market conditions.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with other sales team members, service technicians, and parts specialists.
- Collaborate with marketing and promotions teams to support dealership initiatives and events.
Qualifications:

- Knowledge: A strong passion for powersports and a good understanding of the products is a big plus.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build rapport with customers and guide them through the sales process.

- Proficient in using point-of-sale systems and basic office software.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move equipment or parts (e.g., helmets, accessories) and potentially work with vehicles during demonstrations.
- Work Environment: Typically based in a dealership, showroom, or retail environment. Expect some outdoor work during product demonstrations or events.
Salary/Compensation:
- Base Salary Commission: Many powersports sales positions offer a base salary with commissions based on sales performance. Additional incentives and bonuses may be available.
