Trailer Parts Sales Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Trailer Parts Technician to support daily operations in our Trailer parts warehouse in Wichita, Kansas. This role requires a hands-on approach and a willingness to take on a variety of responsibilities, including inventory management, data entry, counter sales, phone sales, and occasional part deliveries. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist customers and service technicians over the counter and on the phone with parts needs and estimates.
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of part sales, receivables, shipments, deliveries, and stock levels.
• Updates products that are loaded on all trucks and utilize the load/unload slips
• Work closely with other warehouse team members, service team members, and vendors to ensure smooth operations.
• Completes and submits accurate records of products sold, received, and/or filled daily. Along with, accurately labeling and storing the parts in appropriate areas.

· Assist in order fulfillment, including packing and preparing shipments.

· Research for potential new customers for parts sales.

• Perform and completes accurate inventory counts.
• Operates forklift, hand truck, pallet and electric jack as needed

· Perform general warehouse upkeep, including organizing and maintaining a clean workspace.

· Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or inventory management role preferred. At least one year’s experience in heavy trailer/truck/automotive parts department
• Must be able to access parts information from computer, and/or manufacturers to determine the availability, pricing, and substitutions of the part.
• The ability to ack positively and in a professional manner with all customers internally and externally.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Basic computer proficiency, including experience with inventory software and data entry.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (for part delivery duties)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Dependable and able to work independently when needed.
• Assume full responsibility for the consequences of one's behaviors, decisions and results.
• Team Oriented

Physical Demands/Work Environment/Travel Requirements:

• Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk, hear, taste and/or smell; the employee must occasionally lift products weighing up to approximately 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
• Work environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 42.5 per week
