Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy to enhance our online presence, engage with our audience, and drive brand awareness. This role requires a blend of content creation, social media management, and relationship management skills to effectively communicate our brand message across various platforms.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute innovative and relative marketing and social media strategies to increase brand awareness.
- Drive online marketing efforts, including SEO, through a website refresh.
- Filming video and photos on site (sometimes overnight).
- Create, curate, and manage published content (images, video, written) across applicable social media platforms.
- Maintain proprietary software sales demo platforms – training provided.
- Oversee the production of marketing materials, including flyers, brochures, and other print materials.
- Monitor social media channels for trends, customer feedback, and engagement opportunities through social listening.
- Collaborate with sales to align social media, marketing campaigns and website with overall sales goals.
- Utilize tools such as Hootsuite and/or Buffer for scheduling posts and analyzing performance metrics.
- Engage with followers by responding to comments and messages in a timely manner.
- Analyze performance data to optimize content strategy and improve engagement rates.
Skills
- Experience in content creation and video editing to produce engaging multimedia content.
- Excellent communication skills with a knack for storytelling through digital mediums.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- 2 years of experience in marketing, with a proven track record of success.
- Experience in branding, promotion, social media management, graphic design, video editing, and content creation.
- Ability to lead and collaborate with a team, while being highly independent and proactive.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of marketing /online marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Buffer, Adobe Creative Suite, SEO).
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Experience with small business marketing.
