We are seeking a motivated and experienced Stock/Sales Person to join our team at Larry The Locksmith and Hardware, a leading locksmith and hardware store dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and quality products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail sales and inventory management, with a passion for helping customers find the right solutions for their home improvement projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers in locating and selecting products, providing excellent service and product knowledge.
- Manage inventory by receiving, stocking, and organizing merchandise on the sales floor.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in maintaining accurate stock levels.
- Process sales transactions efficiently and accurately using a point-of-sale system.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, ensuring product displays are appealing and well-stocked.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Stay informed about new products, promotions, and industry trends to provide informed recommendations to customers.
- Make keys upon request (we can train you)
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in a hardware or home improvement store.
- Strong skills in stocking, merchandising, and packaging.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to lift and move heavy products, as well as stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills and experience with point-of-sale systems.
- Knowledge of hardware products and tools is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and some holidays.
- Ability to learn about locksmithing, and lock products, and take appointment for locksmith services.
- Willingness to undergo training to become proficient in lock services and key cutting.
