This hospital offers a full continuum of specialized care, including inpatient and day hospital services, for those suffering from mental health illness and substance use disorders. Additionally, they have specialized programs for children, adolescents, adults and seniors. We are looking for an experienced DIRECTOR OF INTAKE and ADMISSIONS who can direct the overall quality and delivery of patient/client care for the Assessment and Referral Department. Overview of Responsibilities
- Supervision of the staff in the Assessment and Referral Department.
- Ensuring that quality patient/client care is in compliance with regulatoryrequirements,professionalstandardsandthefacility’spoliciesandprocedures.
- Active involvement quality improvementactivities.
- Interaction with the staff in the in the following areas:Business Office, Business Development, Utilization Management, HIM and Nursing.
Education and Experience
- Required: Master’s degree in psychology, Social Work or other mental health field.
- Current CPR and CPI certifications.
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in a Behavioral Healthcare or Psychiatric facility.
- Required: Five (5) years of clinical experience in a mental health setting.
