DIRECTOR OF OUTPATIENT SERVICES -LMSW
OVERVIEW
This Outpatient clinic is hiring a DIRECTOR OF OUTPATIENT SERVICES to be responsible for the oversight of all clinical treatment programs of patients receiving treatment for psychiatric, and substance abuse issues in outpatient settings. The DIRECTOR OF OUTPATIENT SERVICES has an important role to assure that the clinic is providing excellent care and integrating clinical functions.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
• Responsible for overall clinical development of all outpatient clinical programs and staff
• Program development and evaluation to ensure that programs are effective, efficient and consistent with the organizations mission, values and goals
• Participates in quality projects, as assigned, and supports quality initiatives.
• Supports and demonstrates fiscal responsibility through supply usage, ordering of supplies, and conservation of facility resources.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Required: Master’s degree from an accredited school of Social Work.
Current license in social work in the state of employment, as required by state regulations.
CPR and hospital-selected de-escalation technique certification. A knowledge of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment principles.
Preferred: Mental health professional license in the state of employment to conduct individual/group psychotherapy (e.g., LMSW, LPC, LMFT, LMCPH)
Maintains education and development appropriate for position.
Five (5) or more years of previous experience in all aspects of social service with an emphasis in the behavioral health setting, and a
Minimum of five (5) years of supervisory experience. Previous experience in outpatient healthcare.
Previous experience in a free-standing psychiatric setting facility is preferred
