Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with environmental health and safety regulations
- Investigate complaints and incidents related to environmental health and safety issues
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks and improve workplace safety
- Provide training and education to employees on environmental health and safety practices
- Collaborate with management to develop policies and procedures for environmental health and safety
- Conduct root cause analysis of incidents and accidents to identify areas for improvement
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of environmental health and safety programs
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to environmental health and safety activities
```Requirements```
- Highschool Degree or equivalent or degree in Environmental Health, Occupational Health, or a related field
-Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
-Strong oral and written communication skills
Computer Skills (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook)
-Strong planning and organizational skills
- Proven experience working in environmental health and safety role
- Knowledge of relevant regulations such as OSHA, EPA, and workers compensation laws
- Strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies and hazard identification techniques
- Certification in First Aid, CPR, or other relevant emergency response training
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to develop and deliver training programs on environmental health and safety topics
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct root cause analysis
- Ability to fabricate solutions to address environmental health and safety concerns
