Duties
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders ensuring clarity and attention to detail.
- Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience.
- Prepare tables for service by sanitizing surfaces and keeping condiments and napkin dispensers full.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or special requests efficiently.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Handle cash transactions accurately while adhering to cash handling procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining area by regularly clearing tables and sanitizing surfaces as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or fine dining is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices is a plus.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations to ensure compliance in all aspects of service.
- Proficiency in or dedication to learning and using POS systems.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with serving duties.
