Your Opportunity Impact
LDG is currently seeking qualified construction inspectors for heavy civil and Water Wastewater type projects in Central & North Central PA and the Southern Tier of NYS. Candidates with experience in trench work, construction roadways and water / wastewater treatment plants will be considered. Project documentation requires detailed daily reports with basic computer skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspects, observes, and documents construction activities for Transportation and / or Civil projects.
- Uses various computer software programs to document observations and creates inspection reports.
- Continuously monitors work of team to ensure timely completion of project.
- Interacts with clients, contractors, sub-contractors, government agency representatives, and other parties on a regular basis.
- Communicates information, responds to inquiries, and helps resolve field issues to ensure successful completion of projects.
- Responsible for obtaining and maintaining required certifications.
- Utilizes technical references appropriately for the inspection of structural, concrete, earthwork, building, and mechanical components.
