Employment Litigation Attorney – Chicago
We are seeking a mid-level to senior Employment Litigation Attorney for a permanent opportunity in Chicago with a nationally recognized team representing premier local and national employers. This position offers extensive client interaction, as well as engagement with governmental agencies and opposing counsel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, motions, and pleadings.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and agency hearings.
- Handle discovery-related activities, including e-discovery and depositions.
- Draft position statements and dispositive motions.
- Prepare and negotiate employment-related agreements (e.g., employment contracts, arbitration agreements, restrictive covenants).
- Provide strategic counsel to clients on a broad range of employment law matters.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Juris Doctor (JD) and active Illinois bar membership in good standing.
- 4 years of experience in employment litigation experience.
- Strong research, writing, and drafting skills.
- Excellent analytical and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
