Key Responsibilities :
- Title Examination and Analysis : Review real property title documents and oil and gas-related agreements. Identify and resolve title issues within the chain of title.
- Ownership Calculation : Chain mineral, surface, and working interest title to produce accurate ownership reports. Calculate ownership of surface, mineral, royalty, and working interest owners.
- Drafting Legal Documents : Draft title opinions advising on ownership and resolving title complexities. Prepare deeds, affidavits, and other legal documents.
- Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams to facilitate asset acquisition and divestiture. Provide training and mentorship to junior staff.
