What are the responsibilities and job description for the Private Funds Counsel - Global Investment Management Firm position at Larson Maddox?
A Global Investment Management firm is currently seeking to hire its first lawyer based in the United States who will play a pivotal role in assisting with the build-out of the firm's North American legal presence. This Counsel will work directly with the Head of Legal and must have a strong background in private and alternative investment funds across various asset classes, including private equity, private debt funds, hedge funds, and managed accounts. This is a key growth hire for the firm and an exciting opportunity to be involved with a rapidly expanding business.
Qualifications:
- JD from a top law school
- 3 years of experience at a top law firm with a strong focus on private and alternative investment funds; in-house experience preferred
- Experience drafting and negotiating a wide variety of private markets fund documentation, including term sheets, PPMs, LPAs, subscription agreements, etc...
