Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal expertise in real estate transactions, focusing on finance and development projects.
- Draft, negotiate, and review legal documents related to joint ventures, commercial financing, private placements, and capital raises.
- Advise clients on taxation and tax structuring strategies for real estate projects.
- Handle legal matters involving leases, easements, construction contracts, and property management agreements.
- Provide guidance on land use and development processes, including zoning and permitting.
- Support clients with legal documentation and compliance for state and federal tax credits and incentives.
Qualifications:
- JD degree with a strong academic record and active bar membership in Ohio.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in real estate law, with a focus on financing and related areas.
- Demonstrated expertise in at least several of the following areas: joint ventures, commercial financing, private placements, taxation, leases, construction, land use, and development.
- Familiarity with state and federal tax credits and incentives is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills.
Salary : $150,000 - $225,000
