Senior Corporate Paralegal - Growing Real Estate Investment Firm
Our client is a dynamic real estate investment firm in St. Augustine, Florida looking for an experienced Paralegal to provide comprehensive support to their legal team, focusing on various aspects of corporate governance and real estate transactions. Responsibilities:
- Oversee corporate governance activities, including the formation of entities, upkeep of corporate records, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Draft and review a variety of corporate documents, such as resolutions, agreements, and contracts.
- Perform legal research and provide analysis on topics related to corporate law and real estate.
- Support the legal team with real estate transactions, encompassing acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing.
- Liaise with external counsel as needed to ensure the timely and accurate completion of legal tasks.
- Work closely with internal teams, including executives and other departments, to deliver legal support and advice.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate from an accredited program.
- 5 years of experience as a corporate paralegal, preferably in a law firm or corporate legal department.
- Strong understanding of corporate law principles and real estate transaction practices.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.
- Experience in the real estate investment industry is a plus.
