The Company's legal team seeks a driven attorney well-versed in the banking regulatory space to navigate new proposed laws and support the launch of additional products.
Responsibilities
- Stay informed about banking regulations, laws, and industry standards
- Draft and review related legal agreements on existing and new financial products
- Advise internal stakeholders on relevant legal matters relating to the company's financial products
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, technology, marketing) to support the launch of new financial products
- Collaborate with outside counsel on litigation matters when necessary
- Conduct due diligence on potential M&A activity
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- 5-7 years of relevant legal experience
- Admitted to a state bar in good standing
- In-depth understanding of banking regulations and compliance
- Strong drafting skills for contracts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
This is a hybrid position located in the North Atlanta area, requiring collaboration and flexibility.
