What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machinist-Horizontal Linear Pallet System position at Larson Systems, Inc?
We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist able to set up and operate a horizontal linear pallet system to join our team! . You are experienced in all aspects of CNC machining. Programming is not required for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate horizontal CNC machines with a linear pallet system
- Work closely with quality inspection to perfect parts
- Modify parts and materials to improve overall production
- Inspect completed components to detect and remove defects
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery
- Calculate dimensions and tolerance using measuring instrument
- Mentor less experienced machinists when needed
Qualifications:
- At least 4 years experience as a Machinist and have operated a horizontal with a linear pallet system-required
- Able to set up jobs independently
- Ability to trouble shoot and modify parts
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Strong attention to detail
