Job Description
As a Inside Sales Rep for our Larson brand, you will be responsible for building relationships and driving sales within large retail, dealer, contractor, and builder segments. You will support the outside sales team in revenue generation activities and key partner follow-ups, with the goal of advancing to an outside sales role within the broader Fortune Brands organization. Additionally, you will play a key role in utilizing technology to enhance sales presentations and streamline processes.
The ideal candidate is a proactive and driven individual with a passion for sales and relationship-building. They should be adept at using technology for presentations, managing sales processes, and collaborating with marketing to develop segment-focused materials. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment are essential.
Position location: Deerfield, IL - Hybrid
YOUR ROLE
- Sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
- Routing qualified opportunities to the appropriate TM’s or RM’s for further development and closure
- Utilize latest technology to perform effective presentations to prospects.
- Support contractor market activity with Territory Managers, National Account Managers, Specialists, and Regional Sales Managers
- Assist Sales Support specialist by serving as a point of contact and acting as a liaison for the Doors business wholesale/retail business units. Aid and assist the sales team with requests that will allow them the opportunity to gain additional selling time.
- Leverage marketing automation tool (HubSpot) to manage call and email campaigns, as well as opportunity sales process.
- Assess needs, present Doors value proposition and follow-up as required to secure business.
- Partner with marketing in developing segment focused materials.
- Support sales promotion activities.
- Assist with regional marketing collateral needs.
- May perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree and 1-2 years of sales experience or applicable on the job experienc
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Building Products / Construction knowledge desired
- Process improvement skills desired.
- Ability to develop a plan and execute with minimal guidance.
- Superior interpersonal and customer relationship skills
- Attention to detail and a sense of urgency.
- Self-motivated and competitive, but also a team player
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong listening and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

Additional Information
Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is $50,000 USD - $60,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
