General Job Description- Teachers play a vital role in equipping students to achieve their academic goals. Teachers use differentiated standards based curricula that is evident to all stakeholders through posted objectives, submitted lesson plans, and student, parent, observer-friendly language. Teachers create learning environments that are healthy, safe, engaged, supported and challenging. A safe learning environment includes but is not limited to creating nurturing relationships with students, differentiated lessons that cater to multiple skill levels, collaboration with family, and an effective use of time. Teachers demonstrate leadership in the school and participate in opportunities to be a part of leadership teams including BLT, MTSS, RTI and school level accountability committees.
Directly Responsible To:
Licensed Teachers receive assignments from building level administration personnel to fulfill the goals of the District.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Students and facilities.
Minimum Qualifications/ Education
Bachelor’s Degree and or Alternative Teaching Program-
Hold a Colorado Teacher license and or alternative license
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $40,000.00 - $81,595.00 per year
