Direct Support Professional

Job Overview:
We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with disabilities in their daily activities and fostering their independence.

Duties:
- Assist adolescent individual with disabilities with their daily living and independence skills/personal care (may include grooming, hygiene and feeding)
- Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals
- Implement care plans and document individual progress
- Transport and support individuals in community outings and social activities
- Work with teams to provide focused, purposeful support to individuals to make a difference in their lives.

Requirements:
- Experience or knowledge in caregiving, patient care, or direct support
- Familiarity with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) and HIPAA regulations
- Strong communication skills and empathy towards others, foster meaningful relationships between individual and their community.
- High School Diploma/GED

-Must be 21 years of age or older

- Valid Driver's License

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
