Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive activities program tailored to the interests and abilities of residents.
- Organize recreational therapy sessions that focus on enhancing physical, cognitive, and emotional health.
- Facilitate social events and outings that encourage community engagement and participation.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure activities align with residents' care plans and assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to promote upcoming events and gather feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of resident participation in activities and assess their effectiveness.
- Train and supervise volunteers or activity aides in delivering programs.
- Foster an inclusive environment for all residents, including those with disabilities.
Skills

- Experience in home community care or long-term care settings is preferred.
