Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Servers to join our team in a fast-paced dining environment. We are looking for both full and part-time employees. Full time employees are eligible for the company's health care program, which includes the option for dental and vision as well. We offer paid time off for full time employees. All employees, full and part time, will receive a meal during their shift. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of the food industry. As a Server, you will be responsible for creating memorable dining experiences for our guests by delivering high-quality service and ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, providing them with menus and information about daily specials.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems, ensuring all details are captured correctly.
- Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely manner, adhering to food safety standards throughout the process.
- Upsell menu items when appropriate to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
- Ensure that the facility is clean and organized, silverware polished and rolled in napkins.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred, particularly in fine dining establishments.
- Strong culinary knowledge to effectively communicate menu items and make recommendations.
- Experience with POS systems is essential.
- Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to providing outstanding customer service are essential for success in this role.
- The ability to provide warm, welcoming service to every table.
