Job Summary
The RN staff nurse provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures of Las Palmas Medical Center and the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners. In collaboration with the patient, the patient's family and other members of the health care team, the clinical RN assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and coordinates treatment plans and the plan of care.
Key Responsibilities
Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring vital signs
Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure effective communication and seamless patient care
Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and treatment outcomes
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Texas
At least one year of experience in a hospital setting, preferably in labor and delivery
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
