Job Summary:
The RN staff nurse provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures of Las Palmas Del Sol Healthcare and the Texas Board of Nursing. In collaboration with the patient, the patient's family, and other members of the healthcare team, the clinical RN assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and coordinates treatment plans.
Responsibilities:
- Provides direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Collaborates with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Evaluates patient outcomes and makes recommendations for improvement
- Maintains accurate and detailed records of patient care
Requirements:
- RN licensure in Texas or compact state
- BCLS and ACLS certification
- Associate Degree, Diploma in Nursing, or BSN degree
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience as an RN in critical care or med-surg
- TNCC and CCRN certification
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
